Kickoff Day FAQ

Plan your pickup, paperwork, and hospitality experience. Expand each item for more detail.

Kit pickup happens in the cafeteria directly across from the STEM gym as soon as the broadcast ends. Volunteers will verify your mentor ID and confirmation email before releasing the tote. Please bring a cart for heavier items.

No paperwork is necessary. Lead mentor needs to bring photo ID.

Once your mentor signs the receipt and your kit is loaded, you’re all set to depart.

We won’t have complimentary food or drinks on site, but the school store in the student center will sell concessions throughout the event. Teams may bring outside food or coolers—please keep them stored and enjoyed in the student center, not the cafeteria.

Health & Safety Guidelines

We’ll follow the latest guidance from the Dougherty County School System and FIRST HQ during the event.

  • Stay home if you’re feeling unwell or have a fever.
  • Masks and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue.
  • We encourage all attendees to be fully vaccinated and boosted.
